Meet Dr. Babinski
Dr. Babinski is an Arizona native from northern Arizona. She has two children that keep her busy with their extracurricular activities and family adventures. Her family loves to hike, and go on trips making memories spending time together. Reading books is Dr. Babinski’s favorite pastime. Please feel free to ask her about her current book of choice. Dr. Babinski also enjoys gardening, even though she struggles to keeps plants alive!
Dr. Babinski earned a B.A. in Biology from Grand Canyon University, graduating with honors. For a short time she worked as a physical therapy assistant while applying to graduate schools. It was there she saw the true power of the mind watching people recovering from surgery heal. She noticed that those individuals with a positive outlook healed faster, experienced less pain in their recovery, and reported a higher quality of life. Observing these profound changes caused her to switch her focus to psychology. Dr. Babinski earned an MA in psychology, and her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Arizona School of Professional Psychology. She has been practicing psychology for 13 years. Dr. Babinski has a passion for helping people. She has seen amazing transformations in people helping them find direction, passion, and solutions to problems they struggle to solve on their own. Dr. Babinski thrives on helping people build connections to others, and in turn, she gets so much back from the people she serves as well.
PSYPACT
Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT) allows psychologists licensed in one state to offer services in participating jurisdictions to create more accessibility for patients to see provides while traveling, after moving, and to expand access to different specialties. Dr. Babinski is in the process of obtaining her E-passport that will enable her to provide psychological services across state lines with other participating regions.
